Q What is CBD?

A. CBD is cannabidiol, the non-psychoactive component of the hemp plant that offers significant benefits.
Q Why use CBD in skincare products?
A. CBD is a natural remedy, rich in therapeutic and synergistic effects within the skin. CBD acts as an
ingredient booster, making it a perfect addition to our range.
Q What is THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)?
A. THC is the primary psychoactive component in the marijuana plant. All Dp Dermaceuticals are THC-FREE,
using a non-habit forming and non-psychoactive form of CBD isolate or broad -spectrum CBD.

Q What is Full Spectrum CBD?
A. Full spectrum CBD contains other cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant. It may contain
traces THC, but won’t get you “high.” We don’t currently use full-spectrum CBD in any of our products.
Q What is CBD Broad Spectrum?

A. CBD ELIXIR uses “Broad Spectrum CBD”. Broad spectrum is extracted from full spectrum CBD, together
with its beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes. But the THC compounds are removed.
Q What is CBD Isolate?
A. Some of our products contain CBD isolate, which is a purified CBD molecule that’s white and powdery in
its appearance. Our CBD isolate is 99.7% pure. We encapsulate the CBD in patented Calphasomes delivery
systems which helps stabilise CBD and ensure a safe and highly effective delivery of actives into the skin.
CBD isolate doesn’t contain other phytocannabinoids like full or broad spectrum.
Q What is Hemp?
A. Industrial hemp includes all varieties of the cannabis species that contain negligible amounts of THC,.
Hemp refers to the non-drug variant that is cultivated for its fibre, hurd and seeds.
Q What is the difference between CBD and hemp oil?
A. Hemp oil, or hemp seed oil, is obtained when the seeds of the cannabis plant are cold pressed. There
is little to no CBD, THC or any phytocannabinoids present in the seeds of a hemp plant. Hemp oil is non
therapeutic. To check products contain CBD, check the ingredients list for “cannabidiol” or “CBD”.
Q Is CBD safe?

A. The broad spectrum CBD and CBD isolate used in Dp Dermaceuticals are THC-free. They are non-
psychoactive and safe for all ages. All of our ingredients are specifically chosen to bring a unique benefit to
the formulations and together they are proven effective. Use as directed.
If you’re pregnant, we advise against using CBD products. Consult your physician.
Q Is your CBD tested?
A. Yes, our Dp Dermaceuticals CBD products are produced in the highest GMP approved facility. These
products are not tested on animals, but rather us – our staff and many test patients. Also at development
and product level by a licensed California based lab. Third party testing is an important part of our process
to ensure transparency and legitimacy of our label claims.
Q Are there any side-effects of CBD?

A. CBD generally has no side effects. However, some users report mild changes in appetite and
