Used in many acne products to enhance the natural defence system, oligopeptide-10 is an antimicrobial
peptide derived from 15 naturally occurring amino acids. Studies have demonstrated that oligopeptide-10 has
broad-spectrum activity against many types of organisms, including p. acne bacterium. Clinical studies have
shown a significant reduction in the appearance of blemishes and red, blotchy spots after using products with
oligopeptide-10.

BOSWELLIA SERRATA EXTRACT

The boswellia serrata tree grows across India, Yemen, Somalia, Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia. It produces a golden
resin or milky sap that native populations have used as a health and cosmetic remedy for thousands of years.
It is the source of Indian frankincense – an important ingredient in Oriental perfumes, because of its unique
scent. There have been more than a hundred chemical compounds found in the gum resins of the Boswellia
species, many of which are beneficial to the skin. Boswellia serrata is a known anti-inflammatory, and is also
used for anti-ageing treatments and acne medications. It has been clinically shown to improve skin elasticity
and visibly reduce wrinkle depth for firmer skin.
