CAPRYLOYL SALICYLIC ACID (β-lipohydroxy acid)

Capryloyl salicylic acid (LHA) is a derivative of salicylic acid and is known as a gentle, non-irritating
exfoliator. Its keratolytic action exfoliates dead skin cells. LHA is also lipophilic, meaning it is better able
to dissolve in fats, oils and lipids. For these reasons, capryloyl salicylic acid is frequently used to treat
blackheads, whiteheads and acne. Studies have also found that LHA reduces the appearance of lines,
wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

PROTOCOL: PATIENT PERSONAL SKINCARE

• Prepare skin by exfoliation with MICRO DERM EXFOLIANT 2-3
Pre-Treatment Protocol times prior to Dermapen Treatments - this can aid in the absorption
of topicals and effectiveness of ÜBER PEEL during the skin needling
treatment.

• 7 days post ÜBER MD peel treatment (or after any scabs have fallen
off themselves) - Exfoliate with MICRO DERM EXFOLIANT.
• Apply a thin layer of SSSCAR to affected areas following procedure
daily.

• Once dry, SSSCAR can be covered by Dp Dermaceuticals COVER
Post-Treatment Protocol RECOVER SPF 30 camouflage make-up or a recommended
treatment wound dressing.
• VITAMIN RICH REPAIR can be used twice a day for 5 days following
a procedure to assist with healing.
• COVER RECOVER should be applied daily for 5-7 days post ÜBER
PEEL treatments.
