Inspired by the composition of the skin’s natural barrier function, SKIN
VENEER was developed to provide intense moisturising for dry to
very dry skin, while protecting the skin against harsh environmental
conditions. It is a luxurious hydrating moisturiser that also works as a
nourishing comforting hydrator and barrier protector. SKIN VENEER
contains a powerful combination of proteins, botanicals, peptides
and cholesterol, which replicate the skin’s natural barrier function.
Essentially it protects your skin like a biocompatible ’veneer’ layer while
increasing intracellular water.
SKIN VENEER contains active botanicals including Bulgarian rose
(rosa damascene) rich in oligosaccharides and watermelon fruit
extract (citrullus lanatus), which contains citrulline a critical part of
the skin’s own water-based moisturising complex. Helianthus annuus
(sunflower) sprout extract is another significant ingredient because
it contains essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, and supports
the general functioning of the mitochondria (known as the power
generators of a cell).
