PROTOCOL: PATIENT PERSONAL SKINCARE

1. Pre-treatment, use CLINIPREP to assist in control of problematic skin
conditions.
Pre-Treatment Protocol 2. Apply directly onto the skin or use a soaked dry gauze and wipe on
gently. Ensure the area is thoroughly wet for each application.
• For best results and rapid skin recovery, CLINIPREP should be
applied frequently (up to 3 times a day).
• Recommended for patient use, 2–3 days following treatment, or
Post-Treatment Protocol ongoing to treat acne or problematic skin conditions.

PROTOCOL: DERMAPEN PROCEDURES

1. Use CLINIPREP to remove make-up and oil, and to prepare skin
treatment to reduce the risk of bacterial infection and potential
biofilm formation.
2. Using a gauze, cleanse skin thoroughly with CLINIPREP prior to
Skin Hygiene treatment.
• To ensure complete skin disinfection and to minimise irritation,
apply CLINIPREP at each stage of the procedure.
• Use CLINIPREP to remove any blood or residue before applying
masks or treatment creams.
• Use CLINIPREP to disinfect the skin following a procedure to
Post-Treatment Protocol encourage a faster wound healing, to help speed up recovery time
and minimise post-treatment erythema.
